Meet Jan
Artist by profession. Adventurer by nature. Creative chameleon by necessity!
I rarely stay in one artistic lane for very long. Trends change, colors come and go, and keeping up with the marketplace is part of the challenge, and part of the fun. When I’m not in my “Made in the Shade” studio outside Huntsville, Alabama, I’m probably halfway up a rock wall, deep in a cave or hiking one of the 32 national parks I’ve visited so far.

My newest dream brings together the two things I love most: art and adventure. Think creative workshops inspired by nature and exploration, with plenty of laughter along the way.
